This dictionary compiles 2,484 terms from the main disciplines related to the internal and external communication of companies and other organizations, especially the terms that belong to the fields of advertising, public relations, corporate and institutional communication, and administrative and commercial communication. It includes the designations and definitions in Catalan, their equivalents in Spanish and English and, often, also in French. When deemed necessary, explanatory notes that complete the information of the dictionary entries have also been included.

This is the online version of the Diccionari de comunicació empresarial: Publicitat, relacions públiques i màrqueting ("Dictionary of Business Communication: Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing"), published in 1999 by Enciclopèdia Catalana with the support of the Department of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Generalitat de Catalunya and a collaboration with the Blanquerna Faculty of Communication Sciences of Ramon Llull University, the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Gremi de Publicitat de Catalunya ("Advertising Guild of Catalonia").

Clicking on "Consulta de termes" (‘Term search’), terms can be looked up in three ways: using the alphabetical indexes (there is a different index for each language) or making simple or advanced searches in the upper space "Text de la consulta" (‘Text search’) in any of the dictionary languages.
